Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a membership to try my first class?

No! Your first class is completely free with no membership or commitment required. Just sign up, book a class, and show up. If you love it (you will), we'll help you find the right membership or class pack.

What should I bring?

Just yourself and a water bottle! Wear comfortable workout clothes (leggings and a fitted top work great). Classes are done in grip socks — we sell them at the studio if you need a pair. No shoes needed.

What if I've never done Pilates before?

That's exactly what the free class is for! We recommend starting with our inTro to inTension 101 class, designed specifically for beginners. Your instructor will walk you through every movement and make sure you feel comfortable on the reformer.

What is the XFormer?

The XFormer is our state-of-the-art reformer machine. It uses springs and a sliding carriage to create resistance, giving you a full-body, low-impact workout that builds long, lean muscle.

How do I book after signing up?

After you sign up, download the inTension Pilates app (available on iOS and Android). Sign in with the account we create for you, browse the schedule, and book your free class.
